My Memorable Holiday

I've had many memorable holidays but this particular excursion in june 07 left a lasting impression. Club Rainbow (Singapore) is a registered charity committed to helping children suffering from a range of chronic and life-threatening illnesses. The children were having a rainbow camp end party and my grandaunt brought my cousins and I there. After many wrong turns and minor arguments, we finally reached the Singapore Sports School where the event was held.

We played games in the carnival and the chronically ill kids from different groups acted out enjoyable musicals. The camp gave the kids a chance to regain their confidence seeing that some of their protective parents won't even allow them to do anything 'dangerous' like going to the rainbow camp originally called sunshine camp.

The trip there really taught me to appreciate me as I am now and I'm really thankful to my grandaunt for giving me such an opportunity to learn about the children.
